Person/Family Directed Support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The P/FDS Waiver Program provides home and community-based services to eligible individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them live more independently in their homes and communities while receiving the support they need.

Adult Autism Waiver
Empowering adults with autism to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
The Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) is a home and community-based services (HCBS) program designed to support adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in living active, engaged lives. Program Eligibility
Our support programs are designed to serve individuals with various needs. Eligibility requirements may vary by program.
To be eligible for the P/FDS Waiver Program, individuals must:
- Be diagnosed with an intellectual disability
- Meet specific functional eligibility criteria
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania
- Meet financial eligibility requirements for Medical Assistance
- Be 3 years of age or older
Specific eligibility determination is conducted through your county's Office of Intellectual Disabilities.
To be eligible for the Adult Autism Waiver, individuals typically must:
- Be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Meet the level of care needs for an intermediate care facility
- Meet financial eligibility requirements for Medical Assistance
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania
